Although opening Smartbed beds is extremely simple, there are situations when their service needs to be even easier.
- with diseases of the spine
- limited traffic,
- slight growth,
we suggest the option of a hide-and-seek bed in a closet opened by a remote control.
How does an electrically opened bed work?
In the casing of the bed, and behind his back, an electric motor operated by means of a remote control is placed.
Although it is small (10cm), it requires deepening the casing (up to 45-50 cm). This in turn determines the thickness of the mattress.
The recommended height of the mattress for a bed supported by a remote control is 16, maximum 18 cm.
And what if there is no electricity?
The electric mechanism of the hideout bed in the cabinet is traditionally powered from the network. In the event of a power failure, the mechanism system has emergency batteries that ensure safe opening or closing of the bed.
Which bed in the closet can be operated with a remote control?
We recommend a family of vertically hidden Smartbed V beds to operate a remote control bed.
The exception is Smartbed Tavolo, a bed with a hand-operated table, in which the electric mechanism will not pass the exam.
Other Smartbed V bed options work well with this solution.
A good example of this is the Smartbed bed presented in the pictures.
Smartbed V sofa with dimensions 180×200, 50 cm deep, with an additional shelf mounted.
During the opening, the shelf gently drops to the level.
The sofa is completely hidden under the bed, without the need to remove the pillows.
This provides additional comfort to the daily use of the bed.
At customer’s request, additional LED lighting was installed.
